About Ravensthorpe Guesthouse & Restaurant in Albion Park
Jim and Deborah McCallum are multi talented in complimentary ways and that makes them a formidable partnership within their profession. Sharing a background in music and entertainment, interior design and all things antique, Ravensthorpe is a culmination of their talents. With a long history of restoring and transforming heritage buildings into beautiful dining spaces such as Rubys in Mount Kembla in 1983, Jim and Deborah with partners Wayne and Julie Stone purchased Ravensthorpe in July 2000 and the journey of restoration began.
Deborah trained as a chef with the French school Le Cordon Bleu and is a proponent of French provincial cuisine. Jim tends to the front of house and shares his excellent wine knowledge (and vocal talent) with restaurant patrons.
Their joy in life is travelling to food and wine destinations and eating their way around the world!
